Our Mission

Inspired by a dog’s unconditional love and loyalty, our Mission is to enrich the lives of all those who answer the call to serve and their families through the human-animal bond*.

Delivering Comfort & Joy to our Hero Families.  Our team travels to various events and facilities, boosting morale and lifting spirits of service members, veterans, 1st responders and their families.

*The Human-Animal Bond is a mutually beneficial and dynamic relationship between people and animals that positively influences the health and well-being of both.

A Comfort Dog is a newer subset of the traditional Therapy Dog.  It's a working dog that, as the name implies, provides comfort to individuals experiencing a traumatic event, such as the loss of a loved one, natural disasters or man-made crisis events. They are apart of a certified crisis response team.

Comfort Dogs are not Service Dogs or Emotional Support Animals.  Comfort Dogs are highly trained and certified with Animal-Assisted Support Programs (AASP) that provide comfort to people other than their owner/handler

Whereas both Service Dogs (highly trained) and Emotional Support Animals (no training required) provide service or support for their owner/handler.

What is a Comfort Dog?

What is unique about our program...

Like majority of veteran, military and 1st responder families...our Comfort Dogs are always On The Move. Whether it's training day, visiting a facility or supporting an event, our teams are always on the go.

Our teams have experienced bringing comfort and joy to our Hero Families at memorials, community Yellow Ribbon events, deployment ceremonies, welcome homes, funerals, prayer vigils, Vietnam TAT reunions and Military/1st Responder Memorial Runs, all across the great state of Texas.
